spent time on journal and making more gif. animations. jon replied to my e-mail and he'd already put my animation into my moot page, over the net it looked good, downloaded pretty quickly, and gives me great hope that real time, well almost, performance/viewing of my cyberpoems over the net is achievable fairly quickly. now all i have to do is work out how i can get sound happening just as quick. did some reading on realaudio, which streams sound so you can hear it almost immediately. the talker plug-in gives almost instant readings of text by synthesized mac voices, but doesn't work for other platforms. jon is also progressing rapidly with his telepoetics project, having begun to create pages on the web for further activity which includes a live performance over the net via teleconferencing techniques. received confirmation of employment for writer in residence from qut.
